EPL 8208 and 9727

Large-scale uranium exploration in the Erongo Region of Namibia, a major uranium production hub.

EPL 8208

Covers approximately 7,841.7 hectares and is contiguous to the Langer Heinrich Mine, approximately 100 kilometres northeast of the Walvis Bay major deepwater port.

EPL 9727

Covers approximately 12,081.1 hectares and is located approximately 15 kilometres east of the Husab Mine and 25 kilometres southeast of the Rössing Mine.
Under the terms of the agreement, the Company may earn up to a 75% undivided interest in EPL 9727 and EPL 8208 by incurring exploration, environmental, technical and administrative expenditures of not less than CAD$3,000,000 in aggregate prior to June 30, 2028.
EPL 8208 is contiguous to the Langer Heinrich Mine, one of the most significant calcrete-hosted uranium deposits globally with 84.8 million tonnes of ore reserves at an average grade of 448 ppm (2021; JORC and NI 43-101). Langer Heinrich Mine is located in central western Namibia approximately 80km east of Swakopmund and 85km northeast of the Walvis Bay major deepwater harbour[1].

Historical radiometric surveys on EPL 8208 reportedly identified anomalous uranium responses over river sediment areas where carnotite mineralization occurs in fracture systems. Historical reports reference uranium values of up to 260 g/t U₃O₈ in localized zones. Historical drilling within palaeovalley systems reportedly identified uranium mineralization in isolated zones, with grades reported at less than 100 g/t U₃O₈.

[1] Langer Heinrich’s total mineral resources (inclusive of reserves) are estimated to be 140.1 million tonnes at 415 ppm, containing 58,100 tonnes of U3O8 and 18,824 tonnes of Vanadium oxide. The ore occurs over 15 km in a palaeochannel system, some 50m deep. The Langer Heinrich mine is a surficial calcrete secondary mineral deposit.  The Langer Heinrich Mine (75% Paladin Energy) is a high-grade, open-pit uranium mine with a 17-year mine life, holding ~84.8 million tonnes of ore reserves at 448 ppm.  The Langer Heinrich mine has a total life-of-mine production target of 77.4 million pounds. Operations restarted in 2024.
The historical resource estimates provided here are based on data obtained and prepared by previous operators and have not been verified by either the Company or a qualified person as defined by NI 43-101 and the rules promulgated thereunder regarding the reporting of historical resource estimates. These estimates are considered historical and do not conform to current NI 43-101 standards.
Large-scale uranium exploration in Namibia’s Erongo Region, the world's third largest uranium producer and a recognised tier-one supplier to global utilities. The EPLs cover 610 km2 and position Skeleton Coast Uranium as one of the largest license holders in the region.
EPL 9727 comprises 12,081 hectares and is located approximately 15 km east of the Husab Mine and 25 km southeast of the Rössing Mine.

Mineralization on EPL 9727 is associated with both intrusive and surficial related type mineralization.  The intrusive type mineralization is associated with alaskites emplaced in schists while surficial mineralization is associated with calcretes in paleochannels.

Uranium mineralization in the EPL 9727 area is hosted within Cambrian age alaskitic granites and calcrete of Quaternary age. Recent quaternary deposits of the Namib Desert Plains are widely distributed south of Swakop River, along the coast and east of the Khan River.
